Levi Benton is an attorney and a former state district judge with a wide breath of experience. He has served as co-counsel for underwriters in the issuance of public debt securities.
Before entering the practice of law, Levi who is still licensed as a Certified Public Accountant, worked in public accounting with two firms that were “big eight” firms and a small local firm. Levi also served as the chief financial officer for two community hospitals.
Levi is a board member of the Houston Methodist St. John’s Hospital and an advisory board member of the Tri-Cities Chapter of the National Association of Corporate Directors. Levi previously served on the board of the Houston Technology Center, the Houston Area Urban League and previously served as the board president of the William A. Lawson Institute for Peace and Prosperity.
Levi is a NACD Board Leadership Fellow.
Levi and his wife Janis are members of Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church.
